 Andrew Grant

Head Guide

Andrew Grant, owner and head guide of Georgian Bay Musky Charters, has been fishing for musky on Georgian Bay for over 15 years and guiding clients since 2017. During his time out on the Bay he has had the opportunity to be mentored by one of the top Georgian Bay musky guides, and former owner of Georgian Bay Musky Charters, Graham Bristow.

Andrew’s passion for musky fishing was inspired when he was 12 years old and landed his first giant musky. He has spent endless hours on the water at his family cottage on Georgian Bay as well as with other experienced musky guides pursuing his passion. He is excited to share this passion and his extensive knowledge with his clients.

As a member of Muskies Canada, and a graduate of the Fish and Wildlife Program at Fleming College, Andrew is committed to catch and release and the conservation of our fisheries. Andrew will provide instruction on proper catch and release techniques that will ensure these large fish will continue to prosper. In fact he has occasionally landed the same fish more than once!

Although many anglers are happy to catch muskies of any size, Andrew’s ongoing pursuit of giant musky means he primarily fishes for trophy musky using unique and specialized methods. He uses the highest quality equipment and lures to increase chances of landing a trophy fish. The techniques Andrew uses have been proven year after year with many fish over 50” landed annually.
