Pike and Walleye

• We probably catch 500 pike or more each year. I often catch most of the biggest pike and walleye while fishing for Musky. It's not uncommon to catch 20 or 30 pike in a day or to get some of our biggest walleye on well know trophy musky structure using big musky baits. Before the musky season opens we spend our time fishing for pike.  May and June pike can be fast and furious with some of the years biggest pike being caught just after they spawn.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not target pike in known musky spawning areas before the musky season opens. All "out of season" accidentally caught musky are not removed from the water and are releases quickly with very little handling. Bring your digital camera or video camera so your buddies can film your catches. I insist on 100% catch & release for all Musky at any time but pike, walleye, bass, trout and salmon may be kept at the sole discretion of the angler!
