  • Hey Graham,I got the pictures back, thanks. Paul and I were wondering if you've got dates available for November around the full moon. If the fishing is anywhere as good as it was in July we want to try again later this year. We're submitting the 53" and 51" to our clubs contest and with the girth on those fish they could be the largest fish for the club this year and if not I'm sure we could get a bigger fish in November with you. After fishing the Moon River for four years on our annual seven day fishing trip without even seeing a Musky we decided it was time to hire a local guide. Graham was recommended by the lodge owner so I called him to see if he had any openings. The money and time out with Graham was well worth it. Our first day on the water we had five follows and two fish on and lost at boat side. These fish were all over 45"s and one over 50". Even though we didn't land a musky that day we caught over 20 pike. With the spots and knowledge Graham taught us we managed to see and catch two musky on our last three days of our trip, 43" and my new personal best 49" x 22". Graham was very friendly and professional and taught us how and where to fish for the huge musky of Georgian Bay. I've even tried some of Grahams techniques on other lakes and they worked.  My only regret was that we should have hired Graham four years ago.   • "We were so impressed we canceled our boat rentals for the week and hired Graham for three more days". " When I heard Graham say he regularly see's musky 20lbs or bigger we thought that was just another fish story because we've booked a five day trip every fall for the last three years and only seen one Musky. Graham told us to book earlier in July or August instead of October if our goal was just to catch a fish over 50". We didn't think summer was good for big Musky  but Graham said summer was more numbers with still many fish over 50" and fall was for guys looking for trophies over 40lbs and 50lbs. We booked our trip for mid August and booked Graham for one day just to see.  We were so impressed we canceled our boat rentals for the week and hired Graham for three more days. Each day we saw at least three musky over 20lbs, just like he said. Graham kept us motivated and taught us how to cast, use different lures properly where to fish and how to figure eight perfectly for when those giant Moon River Muskies come following. On our fourth day out the fish were aggressive with the warm front that moved in. We saw eleven fish and put four in the boat. One was 44" , 48" and two fish were over 50". We had one musky follow that was over 45lbs.  We saw more 50" fish in four days then we've ever seen fishing for musky for the last three years and now have a new personal best to beat.
